Accounting is the language of business — and most owners were never taught to speak it. So that’s where we start. We’ll explain what your numbers are telling you, in plain terms, until you feel fluent.

Robin Schofield, DBA, MBA
Founder & Owner
I’ve been immersed in accounting and finance since 2002, working mostly with small businesses and nonprofits — managing budgets, projections, and reporting. I hold a Doctorate in Business Administration and teach at colleges across New England. I started Balance Sheet Bookkeeping because owners deserve a bookkeeper who explains things, not one who hands over a report and disappears.
